The convicting presence of the Holy Spirit hovered over the house as Apostle Ronnie Naidoo continued on the pillar of SHARING in the series of the Pillars of the New Testament.

• We cannot escape our God – given compassion for others
• We have an obligation to the poor
• Be not bearers only, but doers of the Word
• If we believe the Word, there will be no poor among us
• We are our brother’s keeper

THE WORD, IN SIMPLICITY, SPOKE TO US:

(Deuteronomy 15:4-11)
• There should be no poor among you
• Do not be hard-hearted or tight-fisted toward your poor brother
• Be open handed towards the poor and needy

(Deuteronomy 24:12-15)
• Do not go to sleep with the poor man’s pledge in possession
• Don’t take advantage of the poor
• Pay him what is due to Him

(Job 20:10)
• Teach your children to make amends to the poor

(Job 34:19)

(Psalm 82:3)
• Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless, maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed

(Proverbs 13:7)

(1 Timothy 6:6-18)
• Godliness next to contentment is great gain
• Poverty is no excuse for filthiness
• Should be no class distinction
• Riches should not change you
• Charge the rich to do good, be liberal and generous, ready to share with others

Know today that you have been called to SHARE…
Don’t close your eyes and hands to the plight of the poor

As you open your hands, know that God richly and ceaselessly provides you with everything for your enjoyment
(1 Timothy 6:17)
